Easter weekend, we visited Justin's parents' house on Orcas Island with our friends Chris and Lindsey and their baby Charlotte. As usual, Charlotte won the prize for the cutest baby ever because she is fabulously half-Asian. When out and about in East Sound with Justin, Lindsay and I (all of us are white-- daddy is Chinese) she elicited a flabbergasted cry from a somewhat crazy passerby... "Is that an ASIAN baby?!" (Think of the same intonation you'd give to "Is that a FERRARI?" meaning "Where did you GET that?!"
