I was working from home and when I went downstairs to swap out my laundry, I locked myself out of the apartment. As it was the middle of the day, no one was home. I didn't have my cell phone or even shoes on. Justin's clinical rotation is in SeaTac at the penitentiary where he can't take phone calls-- and the landlady/owner of our building lives somewhere outside Seattle. I tried to jimmy the lock since it was just the knob but I don't have enough mad skillz.
So I was pretty much screwed for two hours until the handyman showed up for another reason entirely and we jimmied the lock together.
Go me. What a day.

That would suck a lot. I would feel so frustrated.

Happened to me the other day. I went to get my mail in my bathrobe. Luckily after checking all the windows I found one I could pop the screen out of and climb in. The cats were looking at my like "WTF, why don't you use the door?"
