Travel Plans
by Kat
Blogging and I have been the bestest of friends for many years. But as these things go, even the closest pals sometimes get tired of each other and need some time apart. That's my excuse. That and work. Now that I have no homework assignments and no social life, I find I have less time and less energy than I did before. At least I have some adventures planned:

This Tuesday, I leave for a client conference in Dallas... the kind of get-picked-up-at-the-airport-by-a-limo and stay-at-the-Four-Seasons conference that businesspeople are sometimes privvy to enjoy. As this is my first of the sort, I am quite excited and eager to make a bunch of new acquantances. As it is Dallas in the thick of June, I'll be bringing my bikini to tide me over in the heat.

Today I got my tickets for my July trip to Amsterdam where the weather still looks like it does here. I'm visiting for The Next Web Conference as a representative of my project, The Web 2.0 Awards as the conference is only a day long and the ticket is paid, I'm taking a little over a week's vacation at the end to visit my aunt who lives in the city. I'm there from July 5th through the 16th, so maybe I'll be ballsy enough to take a soujourn to France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, or the UK... though I admit that cross-continental solo travel does intimidate me.

Any suggestions on where to go or what to do? I've got a month to plan! :)
