I jaywalked right in front of a police car on the way to work this morning. Oops.
With that tidbit and this the first post in a week, I regret to say that I feel the need to take a slight blogging hiatus. I am feeling the best I have in a long while, though pressed for time, and in order to focus a little more inwardly, I want to use the time I have to pursue writing and drawing in a paper journal. I haven't done this for years-- five, to be exact, the length of time I've had this blog. It's important to me to do a bit of uber-introspective naval gazing, and with the amount of unsolicited (SEO) fanmail I've been receiving via this blog of late, my gut says this ISN'T the best place to do it.
However, I did just get a self-gifted present in the mail. Yippee! I plan to explore my camera a little more and keep on making photo posts. That way y'all can be sure I'm not dead. Au contraire, feeling more alive than ususal!
