Just back from the Rat City Roller Girls' first bout of the season, with injury to prove it. We always sit in the "crash zone" for the photo ops and the hands-on experience of catching the skaters as they spin out-of-bounds. This time I took a skate to my right foot (smack dab on that little bone bump on the lower ankle) and another to the outside of my left thigh. Camera's fine, but man will I be sore tomorrow!

Last roller derby I had the bruise from a skate to my thigh for about a week afterwards. I was so proud of it!! Hehe. Roller derby rocks. I wish you could come down here and check out the Rose City Rollers with me again. Love ya!

This was the first bout of the season!
We'll soon have tickets for the next bout on April 29th. Schedule beyond is May 20th, July 15th, August 26th, Sept 22nd, and the Championship on October 21st. That enough information?
