Last night Justin and I were paid forty dollars, in cash, to eat soy ice cream. Yeah, focus groups are realllll painful. I guess it's one of the perks of living in a big city. Apparently Craigslis is good for these sorts of things, though I heard about this particular taste test through my co-worker. Mmm, delicious better-than-free desserts.
And in other news, I filed taxes today. Due to my newly in-dependent status and a form from the UofO declaring tuition expenses, I did NOT end up owing, even though I had to file the income from my 'new' job as an independent business (due to contract terms). In fact, the gubment is paying me! Guess I'll be getting that new Speedlite for my camera in a few weeks after all...
